Pretty good sushi in Old Town Petersburg. They are open during hours a lot of other sushi restaurants are not so that is nice!

The sushi was nothing short of amazing and the staff very kind. I had a dragon roll and my friend had a crab explosion with a variety of sushi on the side. There are several different places to sit on different levels, so we went to the bottom floor which was serene, quiet, and very cool after the heat outside. They have some lovely beer on tap. I will definitely be going back.

Music is absolutely banging, service was perfectly timed and never overbearing, and the food was stellar. I cleaned my plate and debated licking it clean (I didn’t but the thought crossed my mind). I wish I knew about this place earlier but I’m so glad I found it. I also only have a picture of the tempura wabi balls because I immediately stuffed my face with everything that came out after this and didn’t even think to take any pictures in favor of eating. The portion sizes are perfect and exactly as described on their menu too. If you are on the hunt for sushi in the area then this should be your #1 spot. They also had someone playing live music but if you decide to sit away from it; it’s not so overbearing that you can’t appreciate the radio they have playing in the other areas. Also for any girlies with anxiety like me; it’s self seating upon walking in (during non busy hours at least)

Came in during lunch break and ordered the 12 shrimp tempura and miso soup lunch special. Food was delicious. Service was great. Really cool atmosphere. Definitely will return to try dinner.

The sushi was divine! The Old Towne Crunch roll was phenomenal, as were the Bagel Roll & Philly Roll. Lovely presentation as well. Husband got the Clobster sandwich & fries & said it was awesome. We decided to get the Gator Bites on a whim & I am SO GLAD we did, they were delicious! I was expecting them to be chewier, but they were tender & the breading was perfect, plus that remoulade was out of this world. Our server Alex A was excellent. He was attentive without hovering & took very good care of us. This is such a cool building as well, & a great atmosphere for a rainy day lunch. :)

I had an amazing dining experience at Wabi-Sabi in Petersburg. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and had a great vibe. The warm welcoming from the staff was great. I started with the lollipop lamb chops and tempura fried green beans as appetizers. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The green beans were crispy, light, and had just the right amount of seasoning. I also tried the Wabi Balls with shrimp, and they were absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of texture and taste. For my main course, I went with the chicken katsu dinner, which did not disappoint. The chicken was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and paired beautifully with the sauce. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying. What really made the experience stand out was my server, Hannah. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, gave great recommendations, and provided top-tier service throughout my visit. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. Wabi-Sabi is definitely a must-visit if you're in Petersburg. The food, atmosphere, and service were all outstanding, and I can’t wait to go back!
